The aim of the D.A.V Public Schools is to inculcate in the students a thirst for knowledge, devotion to duty, honesty and a patriotic fervor besides humanism. We ensure to provide an all round educational, spiritual, moral, academic, physical, social and cultural background to make our students intelligent and useful citizens. We inculcate the qualities of competence, conscience, compassion and commitment which will help them foster uprightness in public life. Positive attitudes and ideas are inculcated in the students regarding their personal hygiene, cleanliness of surroundings, graceful manners, obedience and discipline to achieve and maintain high academic standards. Personal attention is given to each child. Various teaching techniques including demonstrations, experimentations, home assignments, project work, play-way, structure method etc. are employed to make teaching enjoyable. Through participation and involvement in co-curricular activities students are given opportunity to develop their personality and inherent talent. In school, competitions such as debates, recitation, essay-writing, singing, dancing, art & craft are being conducted on a regular basis. The spectacular performances given by the students in Youth Festival and other cultural programmes sometimes astound the grown-ups.
